Orientation week
At the beginning of the winter semester 2013/2014 we again welcome all new students at Martin-Luther-Universität with a Central Orientation Week from September 30th through October 2nd 2013. With information sessions on topics related to the University of Halle in general (library, student services, career center & Co.), and student life, we will inform you and equip you for your studies.
For our international students we offer more focused information sessions on September 30th and October 1st 2013.
To our new degree seeking international students at Martin-Luther-Universität we also recommend the other events that are offered as part of the orientation week.
At the end of our orientation week, all freshmen will be officially welcomed to the University of Halle at the Official Matriculation Ceremony on October 2nd 2013. Information booths, a ceremony, a varied stage program, tours, and a rich culinary mix will be waiting here for the university students!
After the ceremonies, the official lecture periods begin on October 7th 2013. During this time the institutes will explain their functions and offer their own orientation events for all new students.
