Find a supervisor
The most important step is to find a doctoral supervisor for your PhD. There are several ways to get to know your prospective supervisor: Many PhD students already know their supervisor from their masters programme. If you have not studied at MLU, you could approach scientists from your home university and possibly use their networks and ties to Halle. Another option is to actively network by yourself through the attendance of scientific conferences and conventions specific to your targeted subject. Finally, you could also search for online experts and specialists relevant to your PhD project.
