In 2003, Martin Luther University established an International Graduate School (InGraS) as a platform for scholars seeking an internationalisation of teaching and research at MLU. InGraS consists of sectors that represent research subjects of the University. Its task is the interdisciplinary education of graduate students who do their doctorates in particular disciplines of these subjects. Within the context of InGraS, scholars work together on topics that are crucial for the enhancement of research at MLU.
