MLU Research Projects Funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG)

The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Foundation) is the central, self-governing research funding organisation that promotes research at universities and other publicly financed research institutions in Germany. It serves all branches of science and the humanities by funding research projects and facilitating cooperation among researchers.The DFG promotes research in all fields of science and the humanities. Scientific and academic excellence, the advancement of young researchers, interdisciplinarity and internationality are key elements in the work of the DFG. Promoting research includes supporting individual projects and research cooperation, awarding prizes for outstanding research achievements as well as funding scientific infrastructure and encouraging contacts in science and research.
