Outgoer-Fotowettbewerb
20.02.2013: Sehr geehrte ERASMUS-Studenten, Wissenschaftler und Mitarbeiter! Auch in diesem Jahr möchten wir wieder zur Teilnahme an unserem Outgoer-Fotowettbewerb aufrufen.
Unser diesjähriger Fotowettbewerb trägt den Titel "Typisch...?!" und soll den Blick aus Deutschland in die Welt richten. Fangen Sie ein, was Ihnen ins Auge fällt und was nicht alltäglich in Deutschland zu beobachten wäre. Situationen die wir als anders, „vielleicht“ fremd wahrnehmen und die doch bezeichnend für jene Kultur und Menschen sind.
Anbei finden Sie hier die komplette Ausschreibung sowie das Formblatt, welches zum Foto eingereicht werden muss und erst die Teilnahme ermöglicht. Teilnahmeschluss ist der 15. April 2013. Die Fotos sind zu richten an info@international.uni-halle.de.
Eine Auswahl der besten Beiträge wird ab Mai 2013 in einer Ausstellung im JURIDICUM Café am Universitätsplatz zu sehen sein. Die Präsentation und Prämierung der Siegerfotos findet im Rahmen der Internationalen Woche 14.-16.05.2013 statt.

German Language Course during the semester break
24.01.2013: The Institute for German Language and Culture and the International Office at
Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg offer an intensive German language course for international students during the semester break. Use your spring holidays to improve your German language skills.
Preparatory German Language Course
24.01.2013: The Institut für deutsche Sprache und Kultur e.V. and the International Office at MLU offer a preparatory German course for international students to prepare for the summer semester. The course starts on March 11 and ends on March 28, 2013.

Russlandtag an der Martin-Luther-Universität
29.10.2012: Am 19. Oktober 2012 fand an der Martin-Luther-Universität der erste Russlandtag statt. Russische Klaviermusik, hochrangige Gäste aus Russland sowie aus Halle und der Region, ein reger Informationsaustausch und gelebtes Netzwerken machten den Tag zu einem gelungenen Ereignis.
Ausschreibung: Sondermittel für syrische Studierende, Graduierte und Promovierende in Deutschland
24.10.2012: Bis zum 9. November 2012 haben eingeschriebene syrische Studierende und Promovierende der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg die Möglichkeit, im International Office einen Antrag auf finanzielle Unterstützung zu stellen.
Welcoming Event on October 17
16.10.2012: It is really important for us that you, as our university`s international students, feel comfortable and welcome in Halle. Therefore, on behalf of the International Office, we would like to welcome you and introduce our cultural program to you. The first step is always the hardest! Thus, we have prepared an entertaining presentation about German stereotypes for you to start familiarizing yourself with the German culture.
After the official part of the evening you can try a Mexican buffet and enjoy good music. If you feel like dancing, stay with us! The dancing part starts at 10 p.m.!
We look forward to giving you a warm welcome and having fun with you!

Regionalkonferenz "erasmus25 - Lebenswege europäisch gestalten"
09.10.2012: In diesem Jahr feiert das auropäische Mobilitätsprogramm ERASMUS am 21. November 2012 im Gesellschaftshaus Magdeburg sein 25-jähriges Bestehen. Die Konferenz, deren Teilnehmerkreis von hochrangigen Vertretern aus Wissenschaft, Politik und Wirtschaft bis hin zu Studierenden und Hochschulpersonal reichen wird, umfasst ein vielfältiges und abwechslungsreiches Programm.

Pub Crawl
09.10.2012: After your first lectures you need to let your head rest a bit. All you need is a cosy place to relax in the evening. On 12th October we take you on a pub crawl through the city of Halle. It is the best possibility for you to get to know many great cafés and pubs. This year we start with Rollercafe (Universitätsring 8). Do not miss the opportunity to discover many interesting places where you can meet up with friends and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee during your break between lectures!
Meeting point is Universitätsplatz (in front of the Löwengebäude, Universitätsring 11) at 9 p.m.
Regular's Table
09.10.2012: The winter semester has already started! That is why we would like to cordially invite you to the first International Regulars` Table on Wednesday, October 10.
Together with the International Office and the students from the PhD Network we are going to meet at Enchilada (Universitätsring 6) at 8 p.m.! Our tables are booked from 7.30 p.m. on (Enchilada has a Happy Hour until 8 p.m.)
We look forward to enjoying our first International Regulars` Table with you!
Cultural Event "City Rallye"
26.09.2012: On 02 October, 2012 the City Rallye organized by ERASMUS Life Halle and participants in the Buddy Program of the International Office will take place. It’s like a small walking tour of the city and while answering questions about the city participants in the City Rallye will discover interesting and funny characteristics of Halle and its surroundings.
