PhD Network
A part of our support offers is realised by the PhD Network. At present, we offer advice for PhD students and support for their arrival in Halle. The PhD Network is a DAAD-funded project which helps us to offer German language courses for international doctoral candidates and postdocs, organise events and award PhD Finalisation Grants as well as Teaching and Research Assistantships to international doctoral candidates.
We offer:
- Advice and support for international doctoral candidates and postdocs
- Assistance with registering with the city and applying for a residence permit
- newsletter
- Monthly PhD round table
and according to the availability of funding:
- German courses on different levels
- Excursions and events in Halle and the surrounding area
- Teaching and Research Assistantships
- PhD Finalisation Grants
