International Office
The International Office supports all areas of the university in their internationalization activities and works closely with the Halle-based research institutes of the Max Planck Society, the Helmholtz Association, the Leibniz Association and the Fraunhofer Society as well as with the National Academy of Sciences - Leopoldina and the City of Halle.
The departments International Student Mobility, International Academic Mobility and International Service Office provide information and advice to international and domestic students, doctoral candidates and academics as well as staff, trainees and alumni of the University of Halle on opportunities for study abroad, semesters abroad at the University of Halle, financing options, our support services and our many and varied partnerships with universities and research institutions worldwide.
A very warm Welcome to our international students!
We cordially invite you to the Central Orientation Day on 1st October (see below for more information) and to the Welcome Day for international students on 4th October! On this Friday, we will be welcoming our first-semester and exchange students from abroad. We have also chosen this date because you have no classes on this Friday and a number of topics are certainly interesting for you! We have arranged free city tours (book your seat now!) and a varied programme of lectures. So make sure you drop by!
