DAAD Vortrags- und Kongressreiseprogramm

Mit Mitteln des Auswärtigen Amtes fördert der DAAD durch das Kongress- und Vortragsreisenprogramm die aktive Teilnahme von Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern an Tagungen und Kongressen im Ausland sowie Vortragsreisen ins Ausland.

Fördermöglichkeiten für länderspezifische Kongresse im In- und Ausland

Franco-German University DFH

The Franco-German University sponsors the organization of lecture series with a common academic subject. It is mainly addressed to junior scientists and is opened to all university departments and subjects.

The maximal funding amounts to 25.000 Euro.

DAAD: Symposium program German-Italian Dialogs

The objective of the program is to support and extend existing and newly formed cooperations between German and Italian Universities as well as scientists by funding German-Italian symposia in Germany or Italy. The program is opened to all university departments.

The maximal funding amounts to 20.000 Euro.

Sino-German Center for Research Promotion SGC: Symposia and Workshops

The funded academic workshops have to have a specific subject and to bring together exceedingly qualified academics. The workshops should offer incentives for bilateral research cooperations and can take place in both Germany and China.

Fritz Thyssen Foundation supports especially small academic symposia to foster

Volkswagen Foundation: Symposia and Summer Schools

The foundation sponsors symposia, workshops and small conferences which work on forward-looking and interdisciplinary questions at the borders of established knowledge. Furthermore Volkswagen Foundation funds summer schools which procure new insights for junior scientists and help them to establish new contacts.

Robert Bosch Foundation

The Robert Bosch Foundation is amenable for new ideas. In any case they have to fit to Robert Bosch Foundation's principles. Just enquiries are accepted.

German Foundation for Peace Research

The Foundation funds academic workshops, (international) expert conferences and symposia as well as academic colloquia.

The Franz-and-Eva-Rutzen Foundation supports academic events in the field of Archaeology.

Gertrud Reemtsma Foundation belongs to Max-Planck Society and pursues the obejctive to fund academic performance in the field of neurologic fundamental research.

Lieselotte and Dr Karl Otto Winkler Foundation for Occupational Medicine

The foundation funds especially symposia which aim to bring together young occupational physicians who work practically and academic institutions as well as industrial physicians in order to develop collective projects.

The maximal fund amounts 50.000 Euro.

Federal Ministry of Education and Research Germany: Events in projects and innovation forums

Within the frame of projects congresses can be funded, too. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research offers subsidies for the newly-formed German states to conduct so-called innovation forums - two day lasting events similar to congresses. Their objective is to built regional networks.
