Doctoral candidates with a supervisor
Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU) offers a stimulating environment for postgraduate research.
Here you will find important information for your doctoral stay at MLU, starting with important steps before traveling to Halle (finding an accommodation, finding a suitable health insurance), steps to be done at the beginning of your stay in Halle (registration with the city of Halle, if necessary: enrolment / acceptance as a doctoral candidate at the faculty / application for a residence title), to funding and integration opportunities during your stay at Martin Luther University.
A part of our support offers are realised by the PhD Network. The PhD Network is a DAAD-funded project which helps us to offer German language courses for international doctoral candidates and postdocs, organise events and award PhD Finalisation Grants as well as Teaching and Research Assistantships to international doctoral candidates.
